Batch No. 12 Bourbon
The Batch No. 12 is a series of 9 spirits and is only seasonally available. This Bourbon Whiskey has an understated Bourbon nose. It presupposes a smooth finish. Mid-palate is a gentle, sweet heat.
BSB - Brown Sugar Bourbon
The nose is very Christmas-like, whereupon the brown sugar and cinnamon are prominently up front. This spirit would be incredible in a fudge or other confection. For right now, we will have ours neat. Thank you.
Elk Rider Bourbon
The Elk Rider Series tales of familial ancestor's in the 1800's, who had tamed and ridden area elk. The bourbon is aged a little more than two years in new American Oak charred barrels. For us, there is nothing discernible on the nose excepting the bourbon. However, the palate is treated with a slightly earthy and sweet medley. Incredibly smooth. No burn.
Spirits Advent Calendar
We absolutely love this one! The flavor variety is outstanding. Box design and contents are excellent. Feel free to click on the appropriate length to view enclosed product. We shared this with four other reviewers and it was the funnest thing ever.
About Heritage Distilling:
Heritage Distilling Company (HDC) is a craft distillery based in Gig Harbor, Washington. HDC produces small batch whiskeys, vodkas and gins. HDC was North America's most awarded craft distillery in 2014 and 2015 by the American Distilling Institute.
Heritage began in 1987, when a young Justin distilled his first batch of alcohol in 7th grade. Following that (a few years later) was a degree in Chemical Engineering, then, a law degree. Then, a distillery permit. Humble beginnings for an outstanding company.
