We knew that Miracles From Heaven would be a snotfest and it was and we slung it with the best of them.
We were struck by the reality of the film. For instance, Jennifer Garner as Christy made perfect sense to us. In fact, if our niece's mother had been in Christy's position and had a daughter with a strange illness, she would have behaved in the exact same manner.
Garner's performance was rivaled only by the performance of Rogers. Incredible. Her facial expressions in themselves, were worthy of an award.
When Garner knelt down by the tree, we wondered if Hollywood would yank her away and tell her to be strong. But, that didn't happen. It was beautiful.
Instead, those who loved her knelt down behind her, to acknowledge her pain and to truly be with her. It was very touching. The entire movie was touching.
Just wait 'till you get to Aunt Angela! We do not know if any of that actually happened. But, did or did not, it certainly enhanced the movie. Surely, it did though. How else would the Heavenly images get there without an input?
Nevertheless. It's a beautiful movie. The acting was well done.
