Wet Silence

Agh.  It never fails.  Every time I pick up a piece of literature about Asian Indian women, I am reminded how difficult it is just to be an Asian Indian woman.  They are abused, ignored and silenced!

Wet Silence

As one who has been trained for counseling on a graduate level, I understand how victimization can become one's identity.  It's so sick.  But, I cannot reach out and hug these women.  I can write a book review, though.

Wet Silence is just a continuation of that pain.  Well, it's not just a continuance.  Vikram has collected a series of painful poems.  But, you cannot anticipate the pain until you've read and shared the pain within yourself.
