Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur: National Liqueur Day

Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur (44 proof) is an award-winning liqueur and the only thing that you need to know about it is that it is comprised of lots and lots of only fresh ginger.  Ensure that it's nice and cold and drink it neat.  Or, add lemonade.  Or, try out some of the following recipes.

  • Glass:Pint/Collins
  • 3 oz Barrow's Intense
  • 2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 12 oz Beer (Lager)

Blind Monkey Punch  Created by Kelly & Rose
  • 1 Bottle Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur (750ml)
  • 1 Bottle Light Rum (750ml)
  • 4 Cans Limonata Soda (San Pellegrino)
  • 1 Liter Seltzer
Combine in a big (4+ Liters) punch bowl and server over ice.

Intense Chai
  • 1.5oz Barrow’s Intense
  • Hot Chai Tea

Poison Apple Punch  Created by Emily Ross-Johnson, Founder of Astoria Whiskey Society
  • 8 cups Apple Cider
  • 2 cups Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
  • 1/2 cup Barrow's Intense
  • 1/2 cup Geijer Glögg
  • 1 sliced Apple
  • 1 sliced Lemon
Combine all ingredients in a punch bowl and add lots of ice. Stir until the punch cools slightly (about a minute) and serve.  Makes about 11 - 8 oz. servings
