The 2014 Orchards Pinot Gris is an award-winning wine offered up by Left Coast Cellars, which is owned by the Willamette Valley Estate. Also carefully crafted wines include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Viognier and Syrah. The specialty is vineyard wines. One family. One vineyard. One brand.
2014 Orchards Pinot Gris is fermented in 100% stainless steel, is aged for four months and was released in Spring of this year. For our wine tasting, we included two others who appreciate a fine wine. While we were not able to discern the fruits involved, the nose is very fruity and somewhat citrus as a secondary essence. This is because of the nectarine, Bartlett pears and Gravenstein apples.
The product has flavor continuity, nice clarity and is good. Not too dry. Between the three of us, we enjoyed it until its eventual demise.
2014 Orchards Pinot Gris retails for $18.00 and may be purchased online at this link here. We've stated this before. But, we'll go ahead and do it again. Don't be beggin' for ours. It's gone. Get your own.
