Biagio Cru and Estate Wines Introduces WiseAss

On the fifteenth of this month (2 days before World Malbec Day), Biago Cru and Estate Wines introduced their WiseAss line of wines.  There are both red and white varietals and they are exported from Argentina.

The Red Blend is created from grapes in the Maipu Valley.  It is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Bonarda.  It offers a rich and dark palate with a silky finish.

The Chardonnay is soft.  However, it's medium-bodied with a nose of tropical fruits and ripe peaches.  It pairs well with seafood, white meats and seasonal salads.

WiseAss wines are described as bold and smooth and with a MSRP of $12.99 for a 750 ml bottle, they are sure to grab your attention.  Well, that and the donkey in the middle of the words, "Wise" and, "Ass."

WiseAss provides the depth and character that will please any palate with its delectable taste, along with a lively, energetic personality,” said Darren Restivo, a principal of
Roslyn, NY based importer Biagio Cru and Estate Wines. “From the amusing brand itself
to the quality and value that WiseAss presents, I’m confident this wine will be a crowd
favorite nationwide.”

The Red Blend received a top rating of 88 from Wine & Spirits Magazine before it hit the shelves.  It was declared a "Best Buy."  How's that for a rating?

WiseAss is now available nationwide in various retailers and restaurants.  With a tag of $12.99, it is sure to please even the most discerning amongst us.
