Scarlett Johansson (ScarJo) was born a New Yorker in 1984 and has been in many plays since her childhood. She has an impressive resume, which includes 52 film credits. Some of these are; Lucy, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Hitchcock. She's also done print ads for Louis Vuitton. ScarJo has been nominated and has won many awards (some of these include the BAFTA Film Award, in 2004, Best Supporting Actress in 2014 from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA and the Best Depiction of Nudity, Sexuality, or Seduction in 2014 by the Alliance of Women Film Journalists). Finally, there are tons of periodicals which have written about this talented, hot, busy celebrity.
Clearly, the 2015 Oscars were a noteworthy evening for the young star. Hollywood Life had exclusive rights to the story of ScarJo's breast feeding ordeal. In a big sense, it was nothing more than a natural response to just having given birth. However, the fact that she did this at such a huge event means so much more. She was backstage. So, she didn't make a spectacle of herself. This writer takes the event as a sign of ScarJo's human side.
As one can imagine there was a plethora of comments to follow the article. We are delighted to report that while some did not take the news well, most did! As they should have.
Granted, this would of have been painted an entirely different color if ScarJo had whipped out the boys during the ceremony or while approaching the lectern. It would have been different if she had lit up a joint while doing either of these. Since non of this did happen. There shouldn't really be a fuss.
In fact, we find the ScarJo/Travolta kiss even more fascinating than the breast thing. DailyMail.com states that the show didn't begin until 61-year-old John Travolta gently approached ScarJo from behind, slid his hand around her waist and kissed her cheek. That alone is not such an event. However, her captured expression during the kiss was so cool.
Sure, there were plenty of captured-on-film kisses during the Oscars this year and in many years of Oscar's to precede this year, including the one between Travolta and Kanye West. But, the one with ScarJo? Forever a classic.
