Grado Labs: SR125ed Headphones

Grado Labs
Grado Labs was founded in 1953 by audio legend Joseph Grado.  Grado also invented the moving coil phono cartridge and holds more than 48 patents.  Retired now, Grado was inducted in 1982 into the Audio Hall of Fame.

Recently, we received a pair of GradoLabs SR125e: The Prestige Series.  These cans have a retro-cool look and a sound delivery to surpass anything retro.  It's incredible, really.

If you want to hear something in your audio files that you've never heard before, then, these are your headphones.  The bass is incredible and the soprano is divine without being shrill.

Audio Specs:
Transducer Type: Dynamic
Operating Principle: Open Air
Frequency Response: 20 - 20,000 hz
SPL 1mW: 99.8 dB

For the $150.00 price tag, you cannot do any better than this!  'Course, we haven't experienced any other headphones by Grado.  These are available from the Grado Lab website.
